Sure, there's no "real" difference between sucrose and high fructose corn syrup. That's why all sodas with HFCS give me the runs, while sodas sweetened with sucrose do not.

Be more convincing next time.

I spent the last several years struggling to get a diagnosis for what turned out to be some rather serious and complicated problems with my endocrine system. Now, I'm on plenty of different medications and I'm feeling a lot better, but my doctor also changed my diet. Before we went to him, we'd gone to all kinds of other doctors, one of which even tried taking me off of dairy and gluten products. So when we told him that, he looked at his and shook his head, and then told me to eat and drink all the dairy and gluten I wanted. He then proceeded to tell me to eat more foods with salt, preferably sea salt. Really, he told me to do quite a few things to my diet that were pretty radically different from what everybody else said, and you know what? He's the doctor who was right about everything. It sounds like you might also be in the disappointingly small group of experts who actually know what they're talking about and how to make their clients feel better, as opposed to the much larger group that has no idea how to do anything but regurgitate the trends in incorrect eating advice. Kudos to you.
